Eating Disorders

Eating disorders can cause significant physical and mental health issues. People often know their eating disorders are unhealthy. They may withdraw from social circles, hide certain behaviors and deny having a problem. These actions affect the individual and their loved ones.

The good news is that eating disorders are treatable. It is important to start treatment as soon as an eating disorder is recognized. We offer specialized case management for eating disorders to support the recovery process.

Service and Support

There is no cost to participate in case management for eating disorders.  This is a voluntary service we provide to help guide patients through the healing process.

We do this by:

  • Providing guidance and support through scheduled phone calls.
  • Identifying facilities and providers to best suit the individual.
  • Setting short and long term goals throughout the recovery process.
  • Supplying family members with educational resources to help their loved ones.

Moving Forward

Our case managers can help members overcome the challenges of an eating disorder. This includes encouraging the patient to follow their meal plans, attend their scheduled appointments and provide accountability.

We are here to help with the challenges that lie ahead. Call us today if you or someone you love could benefit from this program.

If you have been in contact with a case manager and are ready to get started with your eating disorder case managment, please complete a consent form.

Please Note: Only members with case management benefits through CBA can take advantage of these resources. Please see your Schedule of Benefits or talk to your Human Resources department to see if you are eligible for CBA's eating disorder case management services.
